Following the arrival of high profile Banking & Finance partner, Bryan Paisley from Hogan Lovells (HL) earlier this year, Baker McKenzie has further secured Lisa Mazor who worked with Bryan at HL.

Lisa joins as a special counsel and has over 25 years of experience in banking and finance and advises on all sides of complex transactions, acting for banks, credit funds, government, export credit agencies, multilaterals, sponsors and borrowers on a wide range of corporate debt facilities, leveraged and acquisition facilities, fund financings, real property transactions, asset finance and project finance transactions.

Lisa has extensive insolvency and restructuring experience, including two years as an Insolvency Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Barbados as well as advising on a number of high-profile insolvencies in the Australian market. She is also uniquely placed to understand a deal from a credit perspective, as a result of her previous secondments to a major Australian bank and a government export finance agency.
