On 10 October 2025, Malaysia’s Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, tabled the Malaysian Budget 2026, themed “The Fourth MADANI Budget: The People's Budget”. This budget, the first under the 13th Malaysia Plan, presents the largest ever total public expenditure at RM470 billion. It is designed to advance long-term fiscal and structural reforms, sustain economic growth, and uplift the people's standard of living, building on the Ekonomi MADANI framework.
