It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Bonnie Tsui, a Partner in the Firm’s Transactional Practice, following a two-year battle with breast cancer. We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to Bonnie’s family, and all those who knew and loved her.
Bonnie was a bright light in the Firm’s Toronto office, fiercely dedicated to her clients and Baker McKenzie. She was also a passionate mentor to so many lawyers and clerks, also serving as co-chair of student recruitment in Toronto. Bonnie radiated joy in everything she did, her smile and laughter were ever-present. As Baker McKenzie’s Toronto Managing Partner George Avraam noted, “Bonnie brought out the best in those around her, and she taught us all so much — not just about work, but about the importance of living with purpose and heart.” Above all, Bonnie cherished her family — especially her devoted husband, Dan, and her young daughter, Elodie.
Bonnie will remain a cherished member of the Baker McKenzie family.
