Biography
Gerard Giménez is a team leader in the Corporate/M&A practice group at Baker McKenzie's Barcelona office.
He joined Baker McKenzie in 2021 after several years as a Corporate and M&A associate at another leading Spanish law firm.
He has been recognized multiple times by Best Lawyers (Spain) – Ones to Watch as an associate to watch in the Corporate and M&A practice in Spain.

Practice Focus
Gerard advises national and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and other types of corporate transactions. He also assists clients during the legal due diligence process prior to these transactions, as well as with their design and implementation.
Corporate Responsibility
From the outset, at Baker McKenzie Barcelona we have taken part in various Corporate Social Responsibility projects. The most recent of these, coinciding with our 25th anniversary in Barcelona, was the agreement to provide pro bono legal advice and financial donations to Obra Social Sant Joan de Déu, a charity that offers help to vulnerable people.
Other notable projects include the agreement to create and advise the Liceu Barcelona Opera House US Foundation, and regular contributions to the Food Bank.
