Baker McKenzie took home nine awards at the Women in Business Law Asia Pacific Awards 2023.

Among other accolades, Baker McKenzie won "Career Development: International Firm of the Year", "Pro bono: International Firm of the Year", "Work-Life Balance: International Firm of the Year" and "China Practice: International Firm of the Year". This is the second year the Firm has won the China Practice Award. 

In the jurisdiction awards categories, the Firm and its member firms collectively took home three awards, including "Thailand National Firm of the Year" for the fifth year, "Philippines National Firm of the Year" won by Quisumbing Torres for the eighth year, and "Malaysia National Firm of the Year" won by Wong & Partners for the seventh year.

In addition, two lawyers were recognized as leading practitioners in their respective fields. They are:

  • "Outstanding Achievement Awardee" – Mini vandePol
  • "Financial Regulation Lawyer of the Year" – Stephanie Magnus
