Baker McKenzie advised newcleo, the leading group in clean and safe nuclear technology developing innovative Generation IV reactors using nuclear waste as fuel, in negotiating and signing the agreement to acquire the entire capital of Pompes Rütschi SAS and Rütschi Fluid AG from the Aturia Group, part of the Indian multinational WPIL.

The Rütschi Group manufactures engineered pumps for nuclear applications and is involved in supplying nuclear spare parts for pumps installed in existing nuclear power plants and developing pumps for nuclear power plants, research centers and naval applications. From its plants in France and Switzerland, it serves about 4,000 pumps in operation in 150 nuclear reactors mostly throughout Europe. It is also involved in other special projects in the nuclear sector in Asia and South America. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions precedent.
