On 21 July 2023, Baker McKenzie client Safran announced the contemplated acquisition of Collins Aerospace’s high-technology actuation and flight control activities in a cash offer based on at USD 1.8 billion enterprise value. The contemplated acquisition would be a unique opportunity for Safran to develop its position in mission critical flight control and actuation functions.
