Biography

Anders Fast is a member of the Firm's Global Executive Committee and EMEA Regional Council. He is a former Steering Committee member of Baker McKenzie's Global Private Equity Group and of the EMEA region and was Managing Partner at the Firm's office in Sweden for over six years, ending in 2023.

Practice Focus

Anders is highly regarded for his practice focusing on complex M&A transactions, including private equity, as well as general commercial advice. His wide client base includes prominent companies in the transportation, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, IT and telecommunications industries. He has also frequently served investment banks in connection with mergers & acquisitions.

  • Advised PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad in the acquisition of Perstorp.

  • Advised Evergrande Health on the acquisition of a majority stake in National Electric Vehicle Sweden.

  • Advised Quant AB, the portfolio company of Nordic Capital on the acquisition of all shares in Sataservice Oy from Vaaka Partners.

  • Advised Cubera Private Equity in connection with the co-investment in Orion Diagnostica together with Axcel and certain Danish pension funds.

  • Advised FSN Capital on the acquisition of 20 target companies with different sellers active within IT infrastructure, cloud services and digitalization.

  • Advised N Hugosson Inwest AB, Windchange Holding AB, Jannerberg Invest AB and Factis Invest AB in its divestment of Evimeria EMR AB.

  • Antitrust counsel to Nordic Capital in connection with the acquisition of Trustly from Bridgepoint and the divestment of Bambora to Ingenico Group.

  • Advised Orio in the sale to Hedin for SEK 503 million

  • Advised Swedbank Robur in connection with investments in Northvolt and Instabox

  • Advised LeoVegas on the acquisition of the shares in the Maltese company Web Investment Limited.
