Philippe M. Reich
Biography
Philippe Reich is a senior partner of Baker McKenzie Switzerland based in Zurich. He serves as head of the Firm’s International Trade Practice Group (except WTO law) in Switzerland, focusing on trade compliance, international trade & regulatory and foreign investments.
Philippe is a key member of the Firm's International Trade Practice Group. He is regularly ranked and recommended in the relevant international legal directories. Since 2022, he has been ranked among the top 100 foreign lawyers for India related matters.
Philippe is also the European representative on the steering committee of Baker McKenzie's Global India Practice and heads the India Desk of Baker McKenzie in Switzerland. Philippe also acts as Chairman of the Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce.

Philippe is seasoned in Swiss, European and international trade law, focusing on export controls, trade sanctions, customs and foreign investments, as well as public regulatory advisory. He previously led the Swiss antitrust & competition law practice and has a solid background in Swiss commercial and corporate law.
Philippe regularly advises clients on international trade compliance and regulations and represents them in export controls and trade sanctions as well as foreign investment proceedings before the competent Swiss authorities.
Philippe also advises on cross-border investments, namely India inbound and outbound projects, as well as supply chains and ESG issues.
Philippe is a regular speaker and panelist at leading Swiss trade and India events. He also regularly contributes to leading Swiss and international media on international trade and India developments and trends.
