Biography

Katherine is a legal project manager in the Global Transactional practice group, based in London. She has a background in management consultancy, and has worked across multiple industries to both improve and assure project and programme management capability. Her experience with Baker McKenzie covers cross-border M&A, restructuring and carve-out projects, with a focus on aligning legal matter management with operational delivery of business change.

Practice Focus

Katherine has experience in design and implementation of governance and reporting structures across multi-party teams, process design and workflow management for preparation and execution of 1000+ local transaction documents, management of scope and financial analysis for the purpose of identifying efficiencies, dependency and interface management, in particular with central PMO / SMO functions with the view to streamlining data management and progress reporting, and facilitation of timely information sharing and development of communication strategies.

She supports clients across a range of industries, with a particular focus on Industrials and Technology.


Representative Experience

Katherine has acted as the lead LPM on the following matters:

  • Emerson Electric’s USD 14 billion sale of its Climate Technologies business to Blackstone.
  • Baker Hughes’ carve out and sale of the Nexus Controls business to General Electric.
  • Emerson Electric's carve out sale aspects of its technology contribution of OSI, Roxar and Paradigm businesses with AspenTech.
  • Baker Hughes’ carve out sale of its Subsea drilling business into a joint venture with MH Wirth/ Akastor.
