Alan Zoccolillo, Partner and Chair of the North America Transactional Practice, has been named a 2023 "Dealmaker of the Year" by the New York Law Journal. Selected from hundreds of nominees across New York, he is one of just 10 lawyers recognized for closing deals that make headlines.

For nearly 25 years, Alan has served as a trusted advisor to some of the largest US and multinational companies on their most important business transformations. He has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and implementing high-value mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and private equity transactions.

Over the past year, Alan has led a number of significant cross-border deals, including Johnson & Johnson's USD 50 billion spinoff of its consumer health products business; Nielsen's USD 16 billion all-cash sale to a PE consortium; and Sika AG's USD 5.9 billion acquisition of MBCC Group, the company's largest acquisition to date.

Alan will be recognized on October 5 at the New York Legal Awards, held annually to honor the attorneys, judges and teams who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in New York.
