Legal Advisors Abdulaziz Alajlan & Partners in association with Baker & McKenzie Limited has announced today the hire of highly regarded lawyer Sahal Khalawi. Sahal will be based in the Riyadh office and will bring with him extensive regulatory and public policy experience advising clients on complex regulatory matters.

Sahal has a top-tier public and private sector experience having previously held a senior role at the Saudi Center of Government, seconded to the National Center for Privatization & PPP and trained at an international law firm. Sahal's expertise spans strategic corporate and government advisory, legislative drafting, regulatory affairs and public policy. Sahal will contribute significantly to the firm's growth and success in these areas and his primary focus will be to expand the regulatory and public policy practice. Additionally, he will actively engage with regulators and policy makers to contribute to the dynamic evolution of Saudi Arabia's regulatory landscape.
