Baker McKenzie today announced it had advised Metis Energy Limited (Metis) on the acquisition of a 111MW utility-scale Solar Farm development project in Queensland.

The proposed transaction is expected to be completed by the end of December 2022.

Metis is listed on the SGX and this acquisition will set the foundation for its growth in Australia and provide the platform and catalyst to expand its renewable energy business in Australia and South East Asia.

Baker McKenzie in Australia is working closely with its Singapore office to assist Metis with its ambitions in Australia and Asia.
