Biography

Kerryn Kahler is a special counsel in the Employment & Industrial Relations team at Baker McKenzie, Sydney. Kerryn joined the Firm as an associate in 2006 and has previously worked as the associate to the Honourable Justice F. Marks in the Industrial Court of New South Wales. She is regularly involved in advising on general employment issues and providing assistance in related litigation matters, and has also advised on the employment aspects of a number of large acquisitions.

Practice Focus

Kerryn's experience has included general advisory and litigious work and she has experience in matters in the Federal Court, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Fair Work Australia, the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales, the Federal Magistrate's Court, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Australian Human Rights Commission. She regularly advises clients on new and existing industrial laws, including anti-discrimination and equal employment opportunity laws, workplace surveillance, post-employment restraints, superannuation and data privacy.
