Juliana Cangussu Dantas is a tax partner of Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam and heads the Latin America Desk. She is qualified in both Dutch and Brazilian tax law and has extensive experience in international tax, with a particular focus on Latin America. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked for 12 years as an international tax lawyer in Sao Paulo, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Ms. Dantas is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Lawyers (NOB), the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Association of Lawyers (UIA).

Practice Focus

Ms. Dantas advises multinational companies in numerous industries on tax planning, treaty interpretation, group restructuring, M&A, investment and financial structures, fund structuring, and transfer pricing. She also assists companies expanding their market reach by advising on their tax-efficient legal structure.
