Joshua Nixt
Biography
Joshua Nixt is a principal economist in Baker McKenzie's New York office. His primary areas of focus are transfer pricing, economic analysis, and valuation. Joshua provides services related to transfer pricing planning, tax planning, and controversy. He advises on a variety of transactions including tangible good, intangible, service, financial, and cost sharing transactions. He has experience managing advanced econometric, valuation, and finance analyses. Joshua worked at Ernst & Young LLP and Compass Lexecon prior to joining Baker McKenzie.
Practice Focus
Joshua advises on transfer pricing and tax-related engagements including planning of intercompany transactions, preparing US and foreign documentation, valuation, and audit defense. Joshua has a particular focus on intellectual property and other intangibles. He has managed several analyses related to licensing, IP migration, and cost sharing. He has experience assisting multinational companies in a variety of industries with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other life sciences as well as industrial chemicals and retail.
