- Advised Gaw Capital Partners on the formation of their Gateway Capital Real Estate Funds I, II and III, which collectively raised USD1.42 billion in capital commitments.
- Advised China Overseas Land & Investment Limited and ICBC International on the formation of Harmony China Real Estate Fund LP, a USD250 million private equity real estate fund focused on residential development in China.
- Advised the managers on the formation and listing of Fortune REIT, Prosperity REIT and Champion REIT on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Acted as trustee’s counsel to DB Trustees (Hong Kong) Limited in relation to its role on the Hui Xian REIT, the first RMB-denominated REIT listing in Hong Kong. The IPO of Cheung Kong (Holdings)-sponsored Hui Xian REIT raised RMB10.48 billion.
- Advised CapitaLand China (RE) Holdings Co. Ltd. on its USD2.2 billion acquisition of Orient Overseas Developments Limited.
- Acted for CapitaLand China Holdings Pte. Ltd. on its acquisition of a minority stake in Central China Holdings Group, a property development group in the PRC, for RMB1.1 billion.
- Acted for Worldlink Medical Systems Limited on the sale of a controlling interest in a chain of private hospitals in Shanghai to Parkway Group Healthcare Pte. Ltd.
- Acted for Merrill Lynch on the acquisition of a portfolio of commercial properties in Hong Kong worth approximately HKD830 million.
