Caroline Silberztein chairs Baker & McKenzie’s Global Transfer Pricing Practice Group. She is nominated by France on the list of independent persons of standing authorized to serve as arbitrators for the application of the European Arbitration Convention.

Prior to joining the Firm in September 2011, she headed the OECD Transfer Pricing Unit from 2001 to 2011 and led the 2010 update of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, including the organization's work on business restructuring, comparability and transfer pricing methods. She started the review of the transfer pricing aspects of intangibles.

She has been an observer to the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum from its inception until 2011. A member of the United Nations Sub-Committee on Transfer Pricing, she continues to be involved in policy dialogue with OECD and non-OECD countries.

Before 2001, Ms. Silberztein was a partner in two multidisciplinary firms. She is a visiting professor in several European universities.

Practice Focus

Ms. Silberztein assists multinational enterprises from a range of industry sectors with transfer pricing risk assessment and management, design and implementation of transfer pricing policies, tax audits, tax litigation, mutual agreement procedures and advance pricing arrangements, on a local and a global basis.
