Caroline Silberztein joined Baker &McKenzie in September 2011 to contribute to the development of the French and global transfer pricing activities.
She was the head of the OECD Transfer Pricing Unit from 2001 to 2011 and led the 2010 update of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, including the organisation's work on business restructuring, comparability and transfer pricing methods. She started the review of the transfer pricing aspects of intangibles.
She has been an observer to the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum from its inception until 2011. She is a member of the United Nations Sub-Committee on Transfer Pricing and continues to be involved in policy dialogue with OECD and non-OECD countries.
Before 2001, Caroline Silberztein was a partner in two multidisciplinary firms.
Ms. Silberztein assists multinational enterprises from a range of industry sectors with transfer pricing risk assessment and management, design and implementation of transfer pricing policies, tax audits, tax litigation, mutual agreement procedures and advance pricing arrangements, on a local and a global basis.
