Baker McKenzie legal advisor to Safe Life on acquisitions in the US and UK as well as capital raising

Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor to Safe Life AB in its acquisitions of the US based GoRescue Brands, Inc and UK based First Rescue Training & Supplies Limited, and in Safe Life's capital raising from Bonnier Capital of SEK 350 million. These additions mark acquisitions number 23 and 24 for Safe Life since 2019 and strengthen the company's position as the market leading provider of AEDs in North America and Europe.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Sweden, Safe Life operates and develops a group of companies focusing on providing life-saving equipment and related training. With a core business in Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), Safe Life has acquired numerous companies across Europe and North America since its inception. After the acquisitions, Safe Life will have combined revenue of over SEK 1.6 billion on a pro forma basis for the financial year 2023.

Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor with an international team consisting of John Gustafson, Adrian Sundberg and Alva Laestadius in Stockholm, Airi Hammalov and Santiago Corcuera-Mansi in the US as well as Alex Lewis, Jack Bliss, Emma Burton and Nick Holder in the UK.
