The New Business Intake Analyst will assist in providing an efficient and effective service to Firm Partners and offices in opening new and existing client registrations and matters. The role-holder will guide Partners to ensure compliance with ethical and legal duties to avoid conflicts of interest and in meeting professional responsibility obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide all aspects of support to the Firm, its Partners, and offices about the New Business Intake (NBI) process
Diligently review new client and new matter information submitted via the Firm’s intake system; assist with identification of possible conflicts of interest; verify that our Standard Terms of Engagement are in place with the client; ensure compliance with Firm policies and procedures; and confirm that all client/matter information in the Firm’s central records is accurate
Conduct online investigation of prospective clients using online databases (such as Pacer, Lexis Nexis, etc.), business intelligence databases (D&B, Hoovers), Government Watch Lists (World-Check), and public domain searches (Google, etc.) to facilitate the identification of high risk and negative findings, which must be communicated to NBI Management and the Risk and Compliance team
Make sound and educated decisions regarding the existence and validity of possible conflicts of interest and clearance of identified conflicts of interest through liaison with Firm Partners and offices
Review Engagement or Assignment Letters for compliance with Firm and departmental guidelines and policies
Ensure Standard Terms of Engagement are applied to all client engagements and, where applicable, ensure exceptions to Standard Terms of Engagement have been approved by the EC-Sub Committee, and are tracked and recorded accordingly
Engage and collaborate with team members through the presentation of ideas and recommendations regarding best practice, continuous improvement, departmental processes, policies, and procedures
Provide support and assistance on important team projects and initiatives, when required

Skills and Experience:

A bachelor's degree or previous experience in a client onboarding role
Excellent working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and online research tools
Able to make effective, accurate decisions, judgement, calls, and reliable recommendations with support from team members and Management, where necessary

The Video Conferencing Operations Engineer will be responsible for the daily operation, support, and optimization of the Firm’s video conferencing systems. The Recruitment Manager–Business Professionals role will work closely with the Business Professional Recruitment Lead and Regional Directors of Recruitment to deliver a first-class recruitment experience to all Business Professional candidates and Hiring Managers across in-market offices and centers. The IP Data Analyst I will provide a full service for the trademark prosecution process or maintenance of clients' IP rights, using IP systems that have been and may occasionally be deployed. Responsibilities:

- generating reports of registrations due for renewal for a certain period
- process renewal instructions
Communicate via email with internal colleagues and global clients
Proactively review operational processes, and actively recommend operational and process improvements
Manage own workload by allocating work items based on the order of priorities
Perform record-auditing of trademarks during client intake or when necessary
Closely coordinate with the specialists, and leaders on issues that may affect the clients' IP rights

The Australian group works closely with its Global team to advise the firm's national and multi-national clients in respect of a broad range of financial products and offerings.

You will have:

minimum 4-5 years’ experience in financial services regulatory;
relevant experience in a top tier or leading international law firm (preferred);
a strong client service focus;
a commitment to high standards including strong drafting and commercial skills, and excellent analytical, written and oral communication;
an ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships, together with business development aptitude, interest, and experience;

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join our Hong Kong Dispute Resolution team. This role forms part of our growing practice focused on complex commercial litigation, cross‑border shareholder matters, regulatory investigations, and high‑value corporate disputes. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior lawyers in handling sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional contentious matters.

Key responsibilities:

The Associate will be expected to:

Handle a broad range of commercial and corporate disputes, including complex shareholder and joint‑venture matters
Manage multi‑jurisdictional litigation and arbitration involving Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other international/offshore jurisdictions
Advise clients on contentious regulatory matters, including enquiries and investigations by financial and listing regulators

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with a market‑leading R&I Partner who chairs global and regional initiatives and collaborates with top financial advisers, global law firms, and multinational clients. Given the complexity, urgency, and cross‑border nature of the work, this position requires deep specialization in R&I and the ability to manage high‑stakes contentious and non‑contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a broad range of R&I matters: distressed acquisitions, workouts, schemes of arrangement, winding‑up proceedings, provisional liquidations, receiverships, and enforcement actions
Manage contentious restructuring matters involving listed companies and multi‑party disputes
Act for financial advisers, liquidators, receivers, creditors, and corporate debtors
Coordinate urgent hearings, time‑sensitive applications, and complex advisory matters
Collaborate with FPG, CMG, M&A and TPG on integrated restructuring mandates
