Biography

Dr. Kathrin Weber is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Corporate Practice Group in Frankfurt. Prior to joining the Firm in 2019, she worked for another international American and an international UK law firm. Kathrin holds a doctoral degree from the University of Würzburg and earned a Master of Laws for European law degree with a special focus on European economic law.

Practice Focus

Kathrin advises clients on all types of M&A and private equity transactions, as well as domestic and cross-border corporate reorganizations and general corporate law.

Representative Legal Matters

Prior to joining the Firm, Kathrin,

  • Advised Advent International and Bain Capital on acquisition of payment service provider Concardis with a transaction volume of ca. 700 million Euro.

  • Advised EQT Expansion Capital II on disposal of Roeser Medical Group to Sana Kliniken AG.

  • Advised Columbia Capital, LLC on investment in Resilience360 GmbH by way of joint venture with Deutsche Post DHL Group.

  • Advised BVK-Residential Europe-Immobilienfonds Corestate regarding a real estate acquisition in Germany.
