Elisabeth Wasinger, a senior associate, joined Baker McKenzie's Vienna office in November 2015. She frequently represents clients as counsel before labor courts as well as administrative authorities. Before joining the Firm, Ms. Wasinger worked for several years as an associate in the employment law practice group of a leading European law firm, and in an employment law focused law firm. She is co-author of the book EU-Verschmelzungsgesetz inkl Arbeitnehmermitbestimmung (EU Merger Law, including Employee Participation), and a contributor to the loose-leaf collection Das aktuelle Arbeitsrecht in der Praxis (Current Labor Law in Practice).
Ms. Wasinger advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of employment law. She focuses her practice on employment law issues arising from reorganizational measures and corporate transactions, including issues of transnational works council structures and collective agreements. She also has broad experience in the field of working time law and in drafting and optimizing various employment-related agreements, company codes and policies.
