Natalia Villalba is Senior Associate of the M&A and Private Equity Practice with over nine years of experience and Innovation Ambassador for Colombia within Baker McKenzie. Natalia has coordinated several complex transactions in a variety of industries in Colombia and Latin-America, for example in the pharmaceutical, oil & gas and retail industries.
Natalia is admitted to the practice of law in Colombia (2009) and in the State of New York (2014). Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Natalia was the General Counsel of the Colombian Private Council on Competitiveness (where she participated in the publication of three National Competitiveness Reports) and worked in other top tier law firm. Besides her JD studies (with Cum Laude Honors), Natalia has a double major, a minor and studies in economics and was granted the Arthur T. Vanderbilt scholarship for her LLM studies at NYU.

Advised Southern Cross Latin America on the acquisition of a majority shareholding interest in a Panamanian company engaged in the business of operating supermarket stores which offer retail sale and on the acquisition of a majority shareholding interest in a company involved in microfinance.
Advised Altra on the formation and consolidation of one of the most important players of industrial waste management in the Colombian market and on a co-investment in an important infrastructure company in Colombia.
Advised Donaldson Company on the acquisition of the biggest motor engine filter production facilities in Colombia.
