Maarten van Laar is an associate in Amsterdam's Competition & Trade department and focuses on EU and Dutch competition law, EU export control and trade compliance matters and regulatory matters. He works in various industries including healthcare and life sciences, TMT, consumer goods, retail and food. He is a member of the Global Antitrust & Competition Practice Group.
Maarten advises clients in various sectors on EU, regulatory and competition law matters, including merger control, cartels and vertical agreements. In addition, Maarten also advises on and assists clients with respect to compliance and enforcement issues relating to EU and Dutch export controls, trade laws and sanctions.
