Sari van Grondelle is an associate within the Amsterdam IP, IT & Commercial Practice Group with a particular focus on IP, IT and commercial contracting. She has completed a midterm secondment at a Japan-based fashion house during which she assisted the legal department on various commercial issues.

Practice Focus

Sari advises on various types of commercial matters with a particular emphasis on cross-border projects. She has relevant experience with drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts, IP licensing and IP aspects in contracts, IT-contracts, e-commerce, media and advertising, and privacy and data protection. Sari has substantial experience in coordinating and managing cross-jurisdictional projects.

  • Assisted a Japanese fashion house in various commercial and consumer law issues.
  • Assisted a Dutch technology manufacturer with respect to setting up and implementing a distribution structure.
  • Assisted a Brazilian based technology manufacturer with setting up, rolling out and implementing data protection policy framework.
  • Assisted a US-based company in advertising and trademark issues online.
  • Assisted a Swedish software company in negotiations with respect to IT-outsourcing contracts.
