Biography

Matthew is a senior associate in the Commercial and Technology team in Baker McKenzie's London office.

Matthew's practice focuses on drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of domestic and international technology and commercial agreements. He also advises on transitional services arrangements in corporate transactions, franchising, and general contractual issues. As a junior associate Matthew completed a full-time five-month secondment at a global cloud computing services provider. As a mid-level associate Matthew completed a six-month secondment at a global bank.

  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating an outsourcing agreement related to IT application maintenance and support services on the supplier side.

  • Preparing standard templates for a fast growing FinTech company and advising on a range of matters including negotiating its supplier terms with its customers.

  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating Collaboration Agreements and Proof of Concept Agreements with FinTech companies on the customer side for a global bank.

  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating a number of Transitional Services, Supply and Distribution Agreements on both the supplier side and the customer side.
