Jean-Dominique Touraille leads the Firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group in the Paris office. He regularly delivers presentations on various subjects related to his area of practice, including enforcement measures in the French legal system, as well as bankruptcy issues. Mr. Touraille is admitted to practice in Paris.

Jean-Dominique Touraille focuses his practice on distribution, product liability, post-acquisition disputes and bankruptcy proceedings. He is proficient in a broad range of litigation matters, including transport, construction, criminal and insurance litigation. He is also actively involved in cases relating to ICC arbitration.

  • Dispute regarding a shareholders' agreement between two large shipping companies in France for control of a common subsidiary.
  • Defense in an action for fraud brought by a company having bought up several subsidiaries of a leading French company in the field of carbon production.
  • Defense in an action for annulment of a transfer of a subsidiary brought by the works council of the transferred company and by its trustee.
  • Post-acquisition dispute (claim for annulment of transfer and payment of damages) in the field of pharmaceuticals (large French laboratory) (ad hoc arbitration).
  • Several disputes relating to termination of commercial relations (ad hoc arbitration)
  • Representation of a leading American company in reinsurance against a French insurance companies (ad hoc arbitration).
