Biography

Kiki Tienstra is a senior associate in the Corporate Finance practice group in London. She joined the Firm in 2015 from a leading law firm in the Netherlands. She is an experienced lawyer who advises on public and private M&A transactions, including complex cross-border carve-outs and restructurings, alongside listed company advisory and transactional work. She has experience advising across a variety of sectors, with a focus on healthcare and financial institutions. She focuses mainly on the UK, US and European markets and is qualified both in England and the Netherlands.

  • Advising GSK on the auction sale of a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Mississauga Canada to Bora Pharmaceuticals.

  • Advising Brookfield Property Group on a shareholders agreement in connection with a real estate development project in Eastern Europe.

  • Advising Cardtronics, a Nasdaq listed ATM service company with a USD 1.9 billion market cap, on a cross-border redomiciliation to the UK and providing ongoing corporate advice.

  • Advising Nielsen Holdings plc on the GBP 26 million strategic carve-out acquisition of a London listed company.

  • Advising a consortium of banks including Credit Agricole, Santander and HSBC on Takeover Code implications of the enforceability of security interests over ADRs in Ferroglobe plc, a global leader in the production of silicon metals listed on NASDAQ, in connection with a USD 3.1 billion merger of Globe Specialty Metals, Grupo Villar Mir and Group Ferroatlantica.

  • Advising The Freeman Company (UK) on the GBP 2.2 million acquisition of Showplans Technology Group Limited.

  • Advising Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. on the sale of Alliance Healthcare Russia, its local pharmaceutical wholesale business, to 36.6, a leading Russian health and beauty retailer.
