Biography
Ayumu Shinozaki is a member of the Firm's Corporate/M&A group in Tokyo and has more than ten years of experience practicing law in Japan. Ayumu is experienced in international transactions and has been seconded to two major Japanese trading houses from 2014 to 2015 and from 2017 to 2018.
Practice Focus
Ayumu regularly handles a broad range of international transaction-related matters, which includes Japanese and international mergers and acquisitions, international commercial disputes and maritime. He provides practical advice on various issues which Japanese companies may encounter in the field of international transaction, including cross-border M&A, international trade, infrastructure-related projects, joint ventures, economic sanctions, maritime and international disputes. He also advises pharmaceutical firms on applications for licenses/permits and negotiations relating to the healthcare industry.
