Malou Schoevaars is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Employment Practice Group in Amsterdam and joined the team in 2014. She advises multinationals on employment and employment litigation matters. Prior to joining the employment team, Malou gained experience in the field of corporate energy, where Malou assisted clients with negotiations and legal advice in relation to several large wind farm projects and advised clients on (renewable) energy matters.

Practice Focus

Malou assists multinationals as well as the boards of small and medium sized enterprises in a wide range of employment law matters. She provides legal support to clients going through the process of collective dismissals, Works Council related issues, and (de)merger activities. She also advises on cases relating to illness, poor performance files, and individual dismissals.
