Practice Focus

Remke's practice covers the entire range of employment law matters, particularly privacy-related matters and compliance. She supports clients in the full data privacy cycle, from implementation to investigation and execution by taking action against the respective employees/managing directors. She focuses on collective employee dismissals, (European) works councils, outsourcing projects, restructurings, employment terminations, including managing directors, employment and commission contracts, mainly within the consumer goods, technologies and consulting markets.

Remke regularly advises companies on employee fraud matters, working closely with accounting firms to investigate the magnitude of the fraud.

Her privacy experience also covers the more ‘hard core’ data protection laws. She helps companies implement legal requirements, including the necessary filings with the Dutch Authority and permit requests with the Dutch Minister of Justice. She focuses on compliance projects, cross-border data transfers, implementation of global databases, whistle-blowing hotlines, privacy policies and other solutions to legal restrictions on data collection, use, disclosure and transfer.

Additionally, she is the trusted adviser to several multinationals.
