Dr. Sebastian Rogge is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Munich office and a member of the Information Technology Practice Group. Before joining the Firm in 2018, he was a research associate at the Department of Public and Comparative Law at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. During his judicial clerkship, he worked for an international law firm and an American multinational technology company.

Practice Focus

Sebastian focuses his practice on all aspects of information technology. He particularly advises German and international clients on IT contract law, e-commerce law, internet law, compliance issues, data protection and privacy.

  • Advised a global company on a SAP outsourcing project.

  • Advised a global technology company on the implementation of a global data protection structure.

  • Drafting of software license agreements and IT service agreements for a global company.

  • Advised on the introduction of various global IT systems and related issues regarding employee data protection.

  • Advised a German car manufacturer in the context of IT service rollouts.
