Biography

Taylor Reid is a Tax Partner in Baker McKenzie's Palo Alto office and a member of the Firm's TMT and Fintech industry groups. With 30 years of experience in international tax planning, Taylor has been recognized as a leading U.S. tax advisor by International Tax Review. He is also a frequent speaker and co-author of a number of books and articles on the taxation of software and electronic commerce.

Practice Focus

Taylor's practice is devoted to international tax planning and consulting services, with an emphasis on software, blockchain, cloud computing, and other high-tech industries. He represents US and foreign multinational corporations in connection with international tax planning and global restructuring projects. He also advises clients on transfer pricing matters and on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
