Dr. Dorothea Radtke joined Baker McKenzie in February 2018. Prior to this, she worked for more than two years as litigation & arbitration associate in an international law firm in Frankfurt and for more than three years in the legal department of Paul-Ehrlich-Institute which is the federal institute for vaccines and biomedicines. Dorothea has in-depth knowledge in regulatory work relating to clinical trials, to marketing authorizations and to pharmacovigilance activities. In January 2018, Dorothea completed her postgraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Law at the Philipps-University of Marburg (Zusatzqualifikation im Pharmarecht). She obtained her Doctor of Law degree at the University of Konstanz on a topic related to IP law in 2011.
Dorothea advises national and international clients on all aspects of European and German pharmaceutical law as well as on compliance and unfair competition issues pertaining to healthcare products and services. In particular, Dorothea provides legal advice on regulatory issues regarding clinical trials, market access, manufacturing, distribution and advertising of medicinal products and medical devices. She also assists in drafting agreements related to the pharmaceutical sector.
