Laura is part of the Venezuela Intellectual Property practice group were she advises in all intellectual property matters including, but not limited to, review and drafting of oppositions, recourses, appeals and actions to be filed at the IP Registry and before the Courts, trademark availability and clearance, branding strategies, sales, license agreements, management and prosecution of worldwide and domestic trademark and copyright portfolios, foreign and domestic intellectual property anti-counterfeiting protection measures, enforcement of trademark rights and negotiation of trademark disputes.

• Advises international companies in Portfolio Management and IP issues, including copyright, trademark and infringement issues.

• Advises on portfolio management for trademarks and patents, and legal issues related to trademarks, copyrights, patents in Venezuela.

• Handles local and international IP matters for one of the most important Venezuelan food Companies.
