Hervé Quéré is a member of the Paris Tax team. For more than 20 years, he worked at the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI) — the French internal revenue service — where he held several positions in the national and international audits as well as tax litigation divisions. He is seasoned in handling complex cases in the pre-litigation state, and, during his time with the DGI, was one of the key contributors to principal direct corporation tax reforms. These include accounting reform, undercapitalization, capital gains regulations, tax consolidation, restructuring, and real estate taxation as related to exchange-listed real estate investment trusts and other REITs.
Mr. Quéré advises on transaction tax, real estate tax (REITS), tax audits and on various specific aspects of Wealth Management issues (tax reduction, Overseas France, regularization of tax situations).
