Luca Pescatore

Throughout his practice, Luca developed a substantial experience in assisting legal entities and individuals with regard to all kinds of litigation and arbitration matters relating to corporate, commercial and contractual disputes, with a specific focus on business arrangements, debt recovery, insurance, banking and bankruptcy proceedings. 

Luca handled in a leading position numerous multi-jurisdictional disputes concerning matters ranging across a variety of industries. Furthermore, Luca actively participated to more than 40 domestic and international arbitration cases.

In addition, Luca works on a regular basis with colleagues from other practice groups, primarily M&A, IT-C, IP, Pharma and Healthcare, Compliance and Investigation, whenever qualified litigation expertise is required.

• Represented a multinational company in multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration proceedings arising out of the construction of two major photovoltaic plants.

• Represented a major contractor in a multi-jurisdictional litigation related to the purchase and transfer of financial securities.

• Represented a multinational telecommunication company in a complex litigation brought by a supplier for the alleged breach of contractual obligations. 

• Represented a French leading company in the airport handling services in an Italian bankruptcy procedure for the lease of a business and relative put and call options. 

• Represented an Italian consortium of companies with operations in the construction industry in litigation and arbitration proceedings related to the performance of a major procurement contract. 

• Represented a major train operator in respect of a claim filed by a contractor relating to a railway supply agreement. 

• Represented a major airline with regard to bankruptcy claw-back actions related to a number of air carrier transportation agreements.

• Advised an Italian bank in relation to the assessment of a substantial number of portfolios of litigation receivables intended for securitization.
