Megan Paterson is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group in Baker McKenzie's Toronto office. She joined the Firm in 2016 as a summer associate before completing her Ontario Articles of Clerkship.
Prior to joining the Firm, Megan completed a Masters of Public Health and worked as a consultant for UNITAID at the World Health Organization in Geneva and other global health organizations in Toronto focusing on issues related to pharmaceutical policy.
Megan has a diverse intellectual property law practice. She regularly assists clients in the areas of patent litigation, pharmaceutical and health regulation, trademarks, copyright, and industrial designs.
Megan also assists the Firm's pro bono team in providing legal support for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
