Alejandro Jose Olivera is listed among Chambers Global World’s Leading Lawyers, and was nominated among the world’s leading structured finance lawyers by Euromoney. He mainly practices in the areas of banking, finance and securities, corporate, restructuring, major projects, comercial contracts as well as mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his practice, Mr. Olivera lectures on various law graduate seminars for the Public Bar Association of Argentina and the American Conference Institute.

Practice Focus

Mr. Olivera represents companies in local and international finance transactions, including syndicated and bilateral loans, project finance, structured finance and trade finance. He has also advises clients on swaps and derivatives transactions, as well as relevant issues, including enforceability, netting and insolvency. Mr. Olivera also has experience acting on capital market transactions, workouts, restructuring and insolvency proceedings. He serves as advisor to international loan agencies, and regularly represents local and foreign creditors in a wide range of financial transactions.
