Biography

Hugh is a junior associate in the Construction team. He joined the Firm as a Summer Clerk in 2017 and commenced his current role in 2019. Prior to this, Hugh had experience in economic consulting.

Practice Focus

Hugh's practice focuses on disputes, but also spans transactional and advisory-based work.

Hugh has acted for large domestic and international clients in various construction related matters involving litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

He has previous experience at Baker McKenzie in Corporate M&A and Banking & Finance.

  • Acting for a domestic construction company in relation to a dispute arising from the expansion of an airport.

  • Acting for international bank in relation to A$4.2 billion acquisition of wealth management business.
