Anastasia is an English qualified tax lawyer who has worked in the area of indirect tax investigations and disputes since 2016. Her practice includes assisting clients to navigate complex tax audits, working with multinational companies to negotiate the settlement of tax disputes and, where necessary, conducting litigation against HMRC decisions and assessments.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Anastasia was a member of HMRC Solicitor's Office. While at HMRC, she worked on a wide range of high-profile and high-value tax and public law disputes before the Tax Tribunal, the High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
