Biography

Doriane Nguenang is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group in Baker McKenzie's Washington, DC office. She focuses on corporate and securities law matters and has assisted in coordinating the delivery of corporate legal services in multiple jurisdictions.

Doriane previously worked as a summer associate in the Washington, DC office. During her time as a summer associate, she conducted research and summarized cases on compassionate release, electronic monitoring in juvenile cases and remote hearings in child welfare cases. She also assisted the Transactional Practice Group on various matters, including amending a memorandum on gun-jumping publicity in securities offerings and drafting templates of the certificate of division and the plan of division for Delaware limited liability companies.

Practice Focus

Doriane advises clients on international and domestic securities and transactional matters, including public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance and disclosure issues, corporate governance matters and the negotiation of commercial contracts. Doriane also regularly represents clients in the planning and implementation of global reorganization transactions, including post-acquisition integration, tax planning restructuring and spin-off transactions.
