Magdalena is a partner in the Corporate/M&A practice. She represents both public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity transactions. Magdalena also routinely advises Polish companies and investors in commercial and corporate governance related matters.

Magdalena has significant experience in managing cross border M&A transactions involving up to 90 countries. She also coordinates projects covering a broad range of integrated services, including post-merger integration, supply chain transformation, and general corporate structuring.

Magdalena leads the manufacturing group in the Warsaw office. While working for the leading manufacturing companies in Poland, Magdalena has gained significant experience in terms of M&A transactions concerning manufacturing targets, corporate reorganizations of the groups of manufacturing companies as well as commercial manufacturing-related work.

Magdalena is very active in pro bono practice. Her leadership in terms of promoting the pro bono practice within the Polish legal community is broadly acknowledged and she has been considered as an example of successful promoter of pro bono practice by the Polish Legal Advisor Association.

Practice Focus

Magdalena focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and corporate reorganizations. She also regularly advises companies on a wide-range of commercial legal aspects. Magdalena heads the manufacturing group in the Warsaw office and has a wealth of experience dealing with the legal and business issues within the manufacturing industry. 

Representative Legal Matters

  • Advised Viskase Companies, Inc. on a number of acquisitions in Europe, including several acquisitions in Poland.

  • Advised Value Quest, Poland-based Private Equity fund, on the sale of TTcomm Group, a leading satellite services group with operating entities in Poland and Germany.

  • Advising the American multinational conglomerate in several M&A transactions related to sale of the organized parts of enterprise in their three Polish entities in power, manufacturing and healthcare segments.

  • Advised the shareholders on the sale of shares in IOW Group, the leading CEE group (Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Lithuania) of manufacturing and servicing companies specialized in industrial equipment sector.

  • Advised the global provider of water, hygiene and energy technologies and services on the global integration of approximately 300 legal entities in 99 countries into a common holding company structure. Magdalena was coordinating project in the following countries: CEE region, Belgium, Ireland, UK, Türkiye and Malta.

  • Advised Dyson in implementation of the distribution model, including drafting and negotiating the cooperation agreements with retailers and other commercial contracts.

  • Advised the biggest global defense and aviation company in the M&A transaction.
