Richard Mogni practices in the Public / Environment Group of Baker McKenzie in Paris.
Richard focuses on large infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in transport (maritime, rail, road and airport) and energy (oil, gas and ore).
Since 2001, he has worked on major projects in 47 African countries and in developing countries. His work has included the negotiation of public-private partnerships and energy and infrastructure projects between governments, private enterprises and financial institutions. He advises port operators, investment funds and media groups as well as energy specialists and mine operators.
Richard is also a recognized in OHADA law (Organisation for the harmonisation of business law in Africa); he has helped to implement it within 200 enterprises in French speaking Africa and contributed towards the publication of an official OHADA case law gazette.
