Alfonso Martín is a founding partner of the Briones, Alonso, Martín law firm in Madrid. He obtained his law degree from the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. Mr. Martín has served as inspector of state property and director of the Masters Program in Tax Law of ICADE. He is also a professor of ICADE’s Masters Program in Legal Advice, and has given classes at the Escuela de Hacienda Pública and the Centro de Estudios Tributarios. Mr. Martín has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1975 and became a Firm partner in 2001.
Mr. Martín focuses his practice on matters related to corporate income and consolidated group taxation, as well as general tax advice. He also assists clients in obligatory tax payments to the government and tax audits.
