  • Managed and conducted a full-scale internal investigation on behalf of a global pharmaceutical company into various allegations of non-compliance with company policies and alleged breaches of domestic and extraterritorial anti-bribery and corruption laws.

  • Assisted in an internal investigation on behalf of a multinational software company relating to breaches of procurement and anti-bribery laws, including the Prevention and Combatting of Corrupt Activities Act and the FCPA in South Africa.

  • Regularly advises clients on notable anti-bribery and corruption developments in Sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Assisted in an internal investigation on behalf of a multinational consulting firm in connection with allegations of misconduct and State Capture in South Africa. 

  • Regularly advises multinational technology companies providing on-demand cloud computing platforms on data protection laws and privacy-related concerns in South Africa.

  • Assisted on various cross-border legal diligences for a multinational technology company to facilitate expansion into various Sub-Saharan African jurisdictions advising on child safety, privacy, telecommunications and consumer protection laws.

  • Regularly advises clients on international commercial trade issues and in particular, on export control, sanctions and dual use technologies.
