Joseph Malca is a member of the Firm’s North America Tax Practice Group and practices in the area of international and federal tax planning. Prior to joining the Firm, Joseph was an associate for a top AmLaw firm, advising clients on various domestic and cross-border structuring issues. While Attorney Advisor to the Hon. Robert A. Wherry Jr. at the United States Tax Court, Joseph drafted opinions, orders and correspondence regarding various federal income tax issues as they pertained to individuals, corporations and flow-through entities.
Joseph advises on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and divestitures in a variety of business contexts. He represents multinational and domestic companies in a wide range of tax planning and tax controversy issues, focusing on federal and international tax matters.
