Stephanie qualified as an associate in Baker McKenzie's Johannesburg office in January 2016. Before joining Baker McKenzie London in January 2018, Stephanie spent three months in an investment and strategic advisory firm in Frankfurt.
Stephanie has experience in advising lenders, sponsors and borrowers on a wide variety of multi-jurisdictional finance transactions including syndicated bank lending, fund finance, acquisition finance, structured finance and structured trade and export finance.

Advising lenders in relation to syndicated subscription fund finance facilities in respect of private investment funds and sovereign wealth funds located in various on- and off-shore jurisdictions.
Advising industry leading bank on a court-sanctioned banking business transfer scheme under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 in response to the UK’s withdrawal from the EU using artificial intelligence due diligence accelerators.
Advising a JSE-listed financial services group in relation to an automobile loan securitisation transaction and a mortgaged-backed home loan securitisation transaction.
Advising subordinated lenders in respect of the curatorship of African Bank Limited and the corporate restructuring of such lenders' debt through a medium-term note issuance programme.
Advising HSBC Bank plc and The Development Bank of Southern Africa on the export financing for Tshwane Rapit Transit in connection with the A Re Yeng bus rapid transit system in Tshwane, South Africa.
