Ben Keen is a member of Baker McKenzie's Corporate and Securities Practice Group in Toronto. Prior to joining the Firm, Ben was in-house counsel for a multinational asset management company.
Ben practices securities and corporate law, focusing on public and private financings, investment funds, asset management and regulatory compliance. He advises public and private issuers as well as investment dealers in connection with registration matters and the establishment, operation and administration of publicly offered and privately placed investment funds. These include hedge funds, closed-end funds, mutual funds and the placement of securities in Canada of foreign issuers. Ben also advises on domestic and cross-border M&A and corporate reorganizations.
