Biography

Andreas Jauch is an associate of Baker McKenzie’s Intellectual Property group in Frankfurt since 2015. After his law studies at the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, Andreas received an LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining the Firm, Andreas completed his legal clerkship at the District Court of Mainz. As part of the clerkship Andreas worked as a research assistant and a law clerk in the intellectual property practice groups of international and domestic law firms in Frankfurt and London.

Practice Focus

Andreas advises multinational and domestic clients of all sectors in intellectual property law matters. He has a particular focus on trademark litigation and portfolio management as well as contentious and non-contentious unfair competition and advertising law matters. Another emphasis of Andreas' work is trade secret protection and enforcement. He is one of the co-authors of the Firm's "Global Trade Secret Handbook". Andreas also advises clients in all IP-related aspects of R&D, Joint Venture and licence agreements and has extensive experience in IP aspects of M&A transactions and corporate reorganizations.
