Biography

Andreas Jauch is an associate of Baker McKenzie’s Intellectual Property group in Frankfurt since 2015. Prior to joining the Firm, he studied law at the University of Mainz and received an LL.M. honors degree in IP law from the University of Glasgow. During his legal clerkship, Andreas worked in the IP groups of national and international law firms in Frankfurt and London.

He is a co-author of the Firm's Global Trade Secret handbook.

Practice Focus

Andreas advises multinational and domestic clients of all sectors in intellectual property law matters. He has a particular focus on trademark litigation and portfolio management as well as contentious and non-contentious unfair competition and advertising law matters. Another focus of Andreas' work is trade secret protection and enforcement. In these matters, Andreas represents clients in front of German and EU courts and IP offices. Another focus of Andreas' work is trade secret protection and enforcement. Andreas also advises on R&D and IP licence agreements and on IP aspects in M&A transactions and corporate reorganizations.
